matilda's mom "Marilee" (Clearwater, Florida USA) : These pants last longer than any other double knee pants my Contractor husband has tried, and I love the way he can brush sawdust off so easily and not bring it in the house stuck to his pants. They last longer because they don't need washing as often as other non-jean "work pants" he's tried. He has an uneven waist size, and it is very hard to find pants that are available in those sizes. When he wore suspenders to hold up pants that were a bit too large in the waist because he could not get his exact size, the suspenders would tear up the waist band. So, having these in all sizes also makes them last longer for him. He thought they would be too hot where we live, but they are not any hotter than his previous work pants. He says he will wear these as long as he can get them.
Gonzo : used to wear plain dickies carpenter jeans until i discovered these...awesome!
these have total of 4 leg pockets vs. 2 total leg pockets in the normal dickies carpenter jean. i love the additional pockets!
it's difficult to manage my day without all these pockets now. they both have hammer loops of course.
the double knee just seems like it will wear much better...plus i found the seams on the double knee jean look cool!
i almost feel hip!
sizing seemed close...don't forget these are "loose fitting", keep that in mind. so if you are on the fence about the size...remember "loose fitting"!
zonker4965 "zonker4965" (5280) : My husband was looking for double kneed jeans because he wears knee braces. These are excellent for work or play. They do not look like work jeans, very good-looking and fitting.
